In dentistry, performing I-PRF (growth factor-enriched fibrin) injections thickens the gums and promotes the closure of exposed tooth roots, thereby eliminating tooth sensitivity. These injections treat the tissues around the teeth (periodontium), reducing the depth of gum pockets and stimulating bone tissue regeneration. Successful results are also achieved in the treatment of the temporomandibular joint and peri-implantitis.

In facial/jaw surgery, filling the extracted tooth socket with an A-PRF clot preserves the bone and gum tissue, preventing bone loss. A-PRF membranes are used in bone and soft tissue regeneration surgeries (sinus lift, bone or gum regeneration).

Post-procedure recommendations:

  • Avoid heating, sauna, and baths for 2 weeks
  • Do not use anti-inflammatory drugs / painkillers such as Paracetamol and Ultracod are allowed
  • Take vitamin D daily!
